Announced today ... next season will kick-off on August 3rd ..... although Celtic are being allowed to postpone their fixture on 10th August for a friendly

The SPL Board today announced that Season 2013/14 will start on Saturday 3 August.

At a recent meeting, the Board also agreed to allow Clubs the option to request a postponement of their SPL fixture to play a friendly on the weekend of August 10. The only Club to submit a request was Celtic FC.

That request was granted and Celtic FC’s Home SPL game that weekend will therefore be postponed.

So, Celtic are were at home on the 10th August....even though the fixtures aren't out yet

Hopefully our season will start on 18th July with a European game!!
