Why do the topic titles all have capital letters for every word when it is not necessary???

I noticed one I did earlier, and edited it to normal writing, but it changed back to capitals as soon as it updated.

its a side effect of the forum setting that prevents topic titles from having only capitals (ie. shouting). It converts it to first letter of each word ... a bit like hitting ctrl + F3 in MS Word.

Cheers for the answer, just curious, as I recall someone being lambasted for posting in this style recently, yet the titles are like this. To be honest, I never noticed it until I tried to edit mine.

Don't like it myself. And it is gramatically incorrect.

And it makes the subsequent letters lower case which you don't always want.

But I see the point about stopping shouting.
