How does winning Scottish Cup and qualifying for Europe affect length of time we have for transfer dealings?

If we have to start season early then transfers will surely have to be made really early, am I right?

Window in Scotland opens on 9th June. Only out of contract players can be signed before then.

Although the topic heading makes little sense, there's a valid point in there.

There will be little break for Hughes, the board and the management team between the end of this season and the beginning of next!

It'll be only four weeks, if we're in the Europa League 1st qualifying round, but a cup win would 'buy' an extra fortnight. We've still many key players to sign-up. Busy times...
