TBH I'd never even heard of the guy.

Is he any good?

Is he likely to be in the first team anytime soon?

I had thought we might have seen Vigurs on the bench this season.  He played a bit for Elgin in the Third division which is a big thing as the physical side of the game and the 'edge' will be much more than in the SPL reserves.

Just noticed that Vigurs played two full games in the second and third game in the La Manga tournament that Scotland won. Good for the boy and a boost for the under 19's.

Absolutely well done to Ian and the rest of the U-19 national squad on their achievement at La Manga.

Results were:

Scotland 3  Austria  1

Scotland 0  Slovakia 0

Scotland 2  Norway  1

Ian played for full 90 mins in last two games.

Looking forward to seeing what he can do in an ICT first team shirt.

Why hasn't Vigurs even been on the bench for us yet??

Dont think he's a first team squad signing yet. Still with the youths but dont think it'll be long before he features.

SCOTLAND U19s WIN LA MANGA TROPHY

Scotland Under 19s will return home from Spain with a trophy in their baggage, having won the La Manga Tournament with a 2-1 victory over Norway today.

Having alrady beaten Austria and drawn with Slovakia, the young Scots needed to win the match to be sure of first place, and were shocked in 16 minutes when Roberts put the Norwegians ahead. A strong claim for a penalty for handball was denied, but the Scots did eventually equalise five minutes before half time through Fraser McLaren of Gretna.

In the second half, as conditions became difficult because of a strong wind, the Scots stamped their authority on the game and got a deserved winner in 57 minutes from Aberdeen striker Andy Bagshaw.
