Over the next day or two, you will see the name of this forum change to "The Betting Forum - Sponsored by McBookie.com"

We have concluded an arrangement with this company to sponsor this part of the forum and to become our official provider of odds for all of the NAP fixtures as well as other fixtures. They will also be putting up a prize for the winner of the competition, and although this is not in the same league as Bob's prize, it is better than we all thought we were playing for. The prize for the winner will be ?50 worth of McBookie.com betting vouchers and myself and Donald will match this with another ?50 in cash meaning the outright winner will get a prize pack worth ?100 .

McBookie is a relatively new online bookie (Feb 2009) and describe themselves as a company dedicated to bringing the best possible service to the Scottish gambling market place. Whether betting on Andrew Murray to win Wimbledon or Scotland to win the World Cup, McBookie strives to be the number one choice for Scottish punters. Always putting Scottish sport and Scottish punters first, McBookie aims to deliver a first class betting service combined with excellent customer service.

In discussions with this company, they have told us that they will produce odds for the three divisions below the SPL each week, plus they intend to offer some extra markets for the First Division not currently available with any other bookmaker. They already produce odds for the First Division top scorers (Adam Rooney 5/1, Richie Foran 7/1) and will be launching Top League Goalscorer markets for the 2009/10 season in the Second and Third Divisions soon.

There is a standing ?10 free matched bet to all Scottish residents on their site, but from time to time they will look to do other free bets where no money is needs to be matched, as well as special enhanced markets. They are also launching Poker on their site later this month and will look at doing a special poker night just for Caley Thistle fans a bit later in the year.

Maybe it would be a bit complicated to collect the money but what if everyone who is playing in the comp this years also puts forward ?10/20 that would go into a pot. That would increase the winnings by about ?300 if it was a tenner each?
