Mind you 3000 Proclaimers fans holding up lighters while singing along to Sunshine on Leith at the Corn Exchange takes a bit of beating too.

Mantis, now I know why you were asking if the Stranglers in 2006 were as good as in 1978.  I saw them in the Edinburgh Playhouse in 1980 and that was an excellent gig.

One of the best venues I've been to was the Glasgow Barrowlands to see Robert Plant.

I think I was at the Playhouse gig too, if it was the MeninBlack tour, or maybe The Raven.
