Good move for Imrie, he's good enough for another crack at the SPL. And it's fitting that in St Mirren he's found a club with as much class as he has.

The Buddies are debt-free with their stadium deal. Plus 35,000 ain't really that much. Seems strange DU called a halt when so close for a player they wanted.

It's fitting that he's found another club to relegate.

Are St Mirren Debt Free? I thought I saw/read something somewhere that they'd already managed to screw that situation up by the end of the first season in the new place.

He plays his best when hes fired up, he scored a cracking goal against us when our fans were giving him stick but can also put a ball out for a throwin when aiming at goal. He was good at crunching players feet off the ball, when the ref/ linesman wasnt watching and has a knack of convincingly tripping himself up to win a free kick.

I think he will have a positive effect on the pitch but have a negative effect in the dressing room.

Wouldn't have him back in the team. My lasting memory of him in an ICT shirt is from the Alba Cup Final when MrCaleyjag said 'watch out he's gonna do someone' before seeing him sprint to bring down the Dundee player for his sending off. Think we're much better than him.
