bad news but face it folks we have had one favourable decision from the powers that be that was a bonus just to show there is no grudge against us!

The only angle I have seen was the sportscene one and it was impossible to tell if he got any of the ball. Looked more of a foul on tv though so not really suprised with this one.

Message to Butcher " please stop wasting our very limited funds on appeals we have no chance of winning " . That is all .

Aye apart from that one they did win - a sending off which you thought was the correct decision of course despite the referee admitting he was wrong........

we're in a bit of a corner here. we know that if we appeal a contentious decision then we wont get it but if we dont appeal it, it will be like weve given up in all thats right.

Fair enough. Was a last man challenge and probably a foul. By the letter of the (absurd) law. a red card.

If it was a foul then a red card is surely just. How is it absurd? If we are going with it was a foul then Barrowman had an open goal to roll the ball into and Gillet brought him down stoping a certain goal. It was also outside the box so not even a penatly to make up for it. Getting a yellow card for stopping a certain goal would be more obsurd. What is the difference with hacking someone down who has an open goal or handling the ball on the line? The open goal one is actually a worse foul being outside the box as a freekick is no where near as benificial as a penalty.

And no jokes about Barrowman probably missing it anyway!

The video taken by Andycam, slowed down, clearly shows that Kenny got the ball. Fast track appeal, my a..e. Its a conspiracy!!! Forgive the language! please - usually reserved for live games.
