Search function not working?

The Search function on the site was disabled recently due to performance/speed issues on the site.

In truth, it's always been gash anyway and threw up strange results on a regular basis so it's no real loss.  We will be switching over to new forum software in the near future, so we ask that you live without it until then as it makes no sense for us to go messing with it just now.

Clacher - you have access to the new software we are currently testing .... the search works far better on that one  :004:

The faces are because I spent ages trying the old one and ended up re installing firefox  :017:
