Doofer heard a band called Blackbud when he was at Uni and bought their first album "From the Sky". He had it playing in the car and I thought it was really good. Their second album imaginatively called "Blackbud" is equally good. This is really well structured music which crosses styles. At times it has a folksy feel and then moves effortlessly to a muse like intensity. Check them out.
