Granville Toich & Willie Bell Panto…….Oh yes he should ……

‘Tis Panto season once again girls and boys, and with Eden Court having the builders in, there should be an even bigger audience for a GTWB Xmas production this festive season.

From the last 12 months there’s the usual rich vein of material, what with the annual managerial turmoil down Longman way, the shady grocer lurking in the shadows with his handful of worthless beans to lure  our long legged but short sighted centre forward and manager away, the threat of  the Super Ally circus coming to town, little Charlie the backroom boy stepping into the limelight and stealing the show, the goose that was laying the golden eggs taking flight before selling his guilded nest, the oh yes we are, oh no we’re not of the Inter Toto European adventure, the annual cup thrashing by the Wee County from along the A96. Not to mention the tragi-comedy being played out through at Borough Briggs. It should all be nostalgic enough to give the misty eyed naelifts a new bout of enthusiasm for playing with the villainous big boys and enough local historical references to keep Mr Bannerman busy correcting inaccuracies well into the new year.

This site needs a bit more of the old surreal highland humour and less of the gloom doom and depression that seems to be filling it these days. Anyone would think it was Elgin City that was being discussed, not ICT, 7th in the SPL. Hopefully it’ll be curtains up and strike up the band at GTWB Broadcasting, if not, can somebody steer me to the previous GTWB productions for a bit of a laugh. Now that’s what I call entertainment.
