So the leagues will now be called

Scottish premiership.

Scottish championship.

Scottish league one.

Scottish league two.

I wonder how long it took them to come up with that? Are they trying to kid us on the leagues have been revamped here? Also the new SPFL logo has been ripped off, it looks Exactly like the Singapore national lion logo except different colours and facing the other way... Looks like Doncaster has paid a graphics artist to come up with a half assed job and copy someone else's, hold on the English leagues are named that too aren't they?

Premier League (the real one) also has a lion as it's logo.

All we need now is for the Highland and Lowland leagues to be renamed the North Conference and South Conference.

What about that chant :"We are SPL!"?.

"We are SPFL Premiership, We are SPFL Premiership" doesn't exactly have a nice ring to it.

The biggest laugh was the quote: " "A mountain of work has been done over the summer to get to this point and I believe there is much more that can be done," said SPFL chief executive Neil Doncaster."

Really?

Translates as: "We argued and argued and argued, then wee Hamish said "why dinnae we jus dae whit rae English dae?" and we all agreed. And went to lunch before hitting the course for 18 holes.

The league names make our set-up look like a Scottish tribute act. We should try and be the best SPFL we can be not try and be a second rate England. No imagination whatsoever.

The top 2 divisions should be the other way around.

"Championship" has more clout than "Premiership"!
