What an evening of darts at the Ally Pally with Barney ousting hot favourite MVG in a tremendous clash. Darts have never been better, not even Jocky Wilson could have prevented that.

Looking forward to the next stages with Anderson, Barney, Lewis and probably Taylor all through. Mouth watering stuff.

Another scorcher of a game with Peter Wright edging out Dave Chisnall. Nip and tuck stuff, and what about The Power getting knocked out. It's all happening.

By the way, if you have been watching, how well has Alan Norris been doing. He has been playing some games in the B League in Inverness for Innes X and here he is performing on the big stage. Go on yersel Chuck.

Bit of practise for Chuck, he finished 6 a couple of weeks ago by hitting 3 x Double 1. Nobody likes a smarty pants.

Maybe, but it won't be beaten for the sheer drama in some of the games as long as you understand what the players are trying to achieve.

Chuck Norris just missed out on getting to the semi-final, great effort from the big man though. Gary Anderson cruised in against James Wade. Bully boy Smith bullying Barny just now and looking good but Barny is on the comeback, with Wright about to take on Adrian Lewis. Game on guys.

Geezo, both players finding it a bit tense out there tonight, Anderson making schoolboy errors again. Edging in front though.

Phew. He wobbled a bit but came through in the end. Back to back world titles. Well done Gary Anderson.

Watched a bit of the 'poor relation', the BDO from Frimley over the week end. Standard does not compare with PDC. A ladies match I saw was just embarrassing given that they are meant to be the 'best in the world'.

If you watched lakeside today you will have realised just how wrong you are about darts being a boring spectators' sport

The camera work is shockingly poor time and time again on the BT Sport coverage of the BDO. Amateur stuff all round.
