1-0 to Utd already Lawrence Shankland header.

James Keating hit the post on the 2nd minute after meeting a cross from White.

Seems like end to end stuff so far we just gotta make sure they don't score again or the heads will start to go down.....

Being out thought and out played so far. United moving it quickly. We are slow and using long balls all the time. Goal was too easy for them too.

Long break in okay just now due to injury to Mckay. Being stretchered off. Hope not as bad as it looks.

We’ve been better since the enforced change. Carson and Walsh combining down right and Vincent doing well in midfield. We are not out of it.

Our defence is a worry. Struggling to handle the pace of United.

Can't afford Tannadice ticket prices so watching on Arabzone from the balcony of my Greek summer house.

Mental start - poor play from Trafford and Carson let United through the middle for an early chance. Heroic last-ditch defending from Brad kept them out - looks like it might be the last we see of him for a while because he went off later with what looked like a really bad injury. We responded immediately - great work from White on the left to wriggle free and cut back for Keatings who hit the post - should've done better - was in space 12 yards out.

For the opening goal McCart was caught out by a ball over the top, he recovered well but lost Shankland when United got a cross in from the resulting throw-in.

Walsh's equaliser was a rebound after a good ?Donaldson header from a corner was saved. United went straight up the park and scored - far too easy for them to pick their passes in the final third - this time it was Coll who couldn't match Shankland's run and headed home his second from a cross.

United are well on top without creating clear-cut chances - they ease past us through the middle and cause problems in wide areas. We are playing everything long to White (who's playing quite well) or wide to Walsh. Doran is anonymous. We are a threat at set-pieces.

That third was too easy. Stemmed from us messing around at a goal kick when we should have got it up the park. Done that a few times today

Mckay went over a United player jumping into a challenge and got hurt giving away a foul.

County also 3-0 against Accies. Chalmers and McKay getting on the score sheet.

What is our back four looking like this half

Carson's hellish at right-back. Just been booked - he'll do well to finish the game.

Dundee United are going to be a force with him leading their line. Yes you can say it's the first day of the season but we all saw it last season when he was with Ayr and now he's with Dundee United they have a better quailty of players for him to work with.

Absolute bobbins.   It's been the same since the start of the league cup, 4-4-2 and hoofing it to White isn't going to cut it.  Even the subs have been pretty much the same every week with barely any minutes for the youngsters.
