Pretty sure it’s until January, same as Sam Nixon.

I don’t know if we can recall either early given we are short of defenders given the injuries we have.

Ah okay thanks. I don’t think they can be recalled early due to SFA rulings

I would imagine that clubs will be interested in purchasing Charlie Gilmour, Remi Savage and Louis Longstaff to name a few in the January transfer window. I would imagine that the club is in no place to reject offers due to being in administration??

P&J and Record both reporting we're in for Bavidge and Stewart. Bavidge is sponsored by Orion so no huge surprise there.  Bavidge has only started three games at Ayr and come off the bench for 11 cameo appearances, scoring 2 goals against ten man Falkirk a couple of weeks back.  Stewart was on loan to Peterhead for second half of last season. I believe one or both may have already been training with us. We could certainly be doing with the reinforcements.

Not sure I like this and it feels like it makes a mockery of the situation.

Players were let go as we couldn't afford them and some staff had hours cut and/or are doing multiple jobs. There are creditors who are due payments.

We're managing to fulfil fixtures and have mostly been filling the bench so I don't see a player welfare issue.

The only reason we need to add players is in an attempt to improve competitiveness. While we all want the team to be more competitive this just feels wrong.

Any decision to take on a new financial commitment is taken by the Administrators who have to consider whether it helps them fulfil their objectives and duties.

If you take all the above posts into consideration, then it is quite possible that the administrators are aware of transfer interest for some existing players which they are mindful to accept to improve finances. This might leave a hole in the squad whereby we could not fill the bench so recalling loanees and adding incoming players on loan, which is not a long-term cost and is likely to be offset either by the parent club, or perhaps by a sponsor, is a sensible approach. It hopefully keeps us competitive and allows us a chance to stay in the current division rather than drop down even further making a buyout of the club even more less likely and of no benefit to current creditors, staff or anyone else.

I am sure there are lots of wheels in motion and lots of moving parts that we have no idea about, but if it helps the club's survival then it benefits all the people you (quite rightly) feel concerned about.

Bavidge and Stewart loan deals confirmed.

So that makes it three consecutive generations of Bavidges who have played up front for Caley/ICT (Mitch, Martin, Alfie).

 - and hopefully each generation better than the last!

Entirely possible that Aberdeen want Bavidge and Stewart playing first team games and would rather they get minutes than have a club contribute towards some of their wages but not actually play them (more thinking Bavidge here given how little he featured at Ayr).

The only player I could see anyone coming in for is Dibaga. Don't see others being able to make a step up and every other team at this level is as near to broke as we are (Cove and Kelty rumoured to be near admin state) so won't be spending on transfers.

Not sure financial fairplay rules allow for creative employment/payment of players and the last time Savage allegedly covered the cost of a player's wages it transpired not to be so clear cut, he walked away leaving us with the liability and we landed in court.

Regardless the players are here now and early signs are good in terms of them contributing to the mission. Long may that continue.

Various articles in Irish media and Daily Ranger regarding Derry City's apparent interest in Danny Devine.  I would very much hope that this doesn't come to fruition.
