My dad knew him well when he worked at the Tomatin Distillery. One thing for sure, they don't make them like Jock any more.

Sad news.

As a young lad he always scared the living daylights out of me....all bark and bite and all at though....

A Thistle and ICT stalwart - RIP big man - one thing is for sure you will have one hell of a send off....and a few good stories recalled....

i had the pleasure of being in jock's company on a few occasions especially laterly when he wasn't so well. it didn't really matter how bad he was feeling but after the usual nice to see yous came the talk of the game.

and as someone said he always looked a formidable character but wasn't like that at all underneath.

he always hoped he'd make another especially this one coming up but it wasn't to be...

thinking of all his family and friends at this time

rip jock

Very sad news indeed, would it be suitable to name to prize for CaleyThistle Player of the Year the Jock Macdonald Medal?

Remember him fondly since I was a boy, very sad news.

I'm sure there are a few teams to have played at Kingsmills over the years with a story to tell about going home with a nice bottle or two in their kit bag!
