Favourite golf tourney of the year starting tomorrow, with Tiger back it's difficult to seepast him as winner but with affy poor odds @7/4 it's hardly worth driving down to the bookies.I'm having a punt on Rory Mcillroy at 33/1 and wee Dee fancies Paul Casey at 25/1.Wha's aboby elses money on?

If it's going to be anyone apart from Tiger, I think it might be Paul Casey, he's just been moved up to a career high 6th in the world and has been playing really well of late...but so has the Tiger and he will only get better.

Rory McIlroy will be there or there abouts for the 1st two days, then fade away and finish around 15th - 20th.

Great first day's viewing,Tiger did his usual slow to start but could have been 5 under at the end,Chad Cambells round was sooperb and really should have at least equalled Normans course record with great conditions and soft receptive greens.I thought it was a shame the three teenagers were out together last as i feel they would benefit from rubbing shoulders with the legends.Anyone know how the groups are decided ?is it meant to be a random draw? dinnae believe Woods out 2nd last and 3 youngest together is random.

Anyway ,roll on tomorrow and C'mon Rory!!!

Another interesting days play, the decision on Padraig while harsh, was probly correct ,Rory will probly get disqaulified now for what was petulance more than anything eles but thems the rules and he needs to learn.Still think Tiger will come good tomorrow once they tighten up the pin placements and 10/11 under will win the tounament.

As for the tail end of the leader board they really need to rethink the past winners neverending entry criteria, it's nothing short of embarresing and stops good young bloods getting in .......'Player 83'.....was that his age or score?

Three way sudden death play off, Perry hanging a putt for the Jacket and Cabrera and Campbell in the mix.

Off to the 10th hole, Campbell dropped off after bogeying the 18th, Cabrera clinging on after whacking a tree on the 18th but salvaged his par.

Game on, both hit the fairway with drives at second extra hole.

out of vodka now.

Cabrera has two putts to win now as Perry pulled his second wide of the green and could not get close. Oh well, he has kept the Americans out of the Green Jacket again.

goddy goody.

The shot Cabrera played out the trees, which ricocheted off a tree trunk before landing in the middle of the fairway, was very reminiscent of the kind of shot Heilandee frequently hits from within the wooded areas around Inverness Golf Club.

It takes incredible skill (or something) to play recovery shots like that!!

Well done Angel - a worthy winner - good to see they had an xl green jacket for him.
