Division 1 Positives

Recommended Posts

Just wondering what people thought the positives will be from playing in division 1 next year?

1 cheaper season ticket

2 the revival of highland derbies

3 if you look at the real established spl clubs, they have all been relegated from the top flight and bounced back better

4 away days like palmerston and firhill

probably a bit too soon, but i'm just trying to prevent myself from jumping off the kessock...

any more??

we did'nt leave the SPL as a diddy team- 37 points says it all.

So we enter the 1st division in a far stronger position.

Cheaper season ticket.

A strong desire to hump the Spl teams in the cup games.

More ICT fans than the last time we were in the 1st div

We Get rid of Bennet and Smith?

Maybe a new board of directors too ( hopefully with at least an ounce of savvy between them)

No bigotted vile being spewed out at our ground

No losing late winners in the last 2 mins to aberdire

Next season isa going to be anything but easy!

Why did we have such a full crowd today, were have they all been all season?

Another 500 season tickets this season could have helped the cuase, if the Board would have spent it!

Easier to win a league title, although not an SPL league title, its still a title none the less.

Anything but easy to win that league...

A better chance none the less.

Matches will kick off at 3 o'clock on a Saturday - with only a couple of exceptions.

Just like in the SPL

No, not like the SPL.

In the SPL we (sorry, they) have lunch-time and Sunday matches most weeks.

You forgotten already

I'm going to be a student in Glasgow next year and I will be more able to afford trips to Firhill, Cappielow and New Broomfield (should Airdrie survive relagation) than Ibrox, Parkhead and New St Minkin Park... And I will hopefully be seeing more wins that I would have.

Anyone else really feel like they want the new season to start NOW?

I for one feel excited for the new season(probably more excited than I would have if we had survived) I haven't felt like this about a new season since we were promoted. I guess its the feeling of having some realistic silverware to fight for.

I want it to start next weekend and keep the same team  How long do we have to wait till the fixtures come out and when does the league start???

Now that the tears have dried and relegation has sunk in, I gotta say there's plenty to be positive about!

The party in The Innes after the game felt like the good old days! Doing the Bouncy Bouncy, singing County songs - superb!

Things to look forward to next Season...

1. No Old Firm Fans!

2. No Old Firm Fans sitting in the Home end

3. Getting the last laugh from the Inverness Old Firm Fans, who have lost their "Home Game" and might now

actually have to go and find out where Ibrox/Parkhead is - the poor lambs!

4. Cheaper Season/Away Match Tickets

5. Better Stewarding!

6. Not being told to sit down at games every two minutes - Old School Footie returns!

7. The Highland Derby - and hopefully an 12 easy points! :P

and finally...................

8. GETTING OUR CLUB BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Time for change - let the clear out begin!
