I see Hearts have released Lee Johnson and Lee Hackett, two signings in the transfer window who didn't get a chance at Tynecastle. Johnson came with a decent reputation from England, I think he's a central midfielder. Perhaps a target should be lose Blackie? Hackett is a winger who was interesting Hibs.

Hackett was useless against us. He has a left leg and can only go one way round a defender. After we'd sussed that he kept heading for the wing. I don't recall him switching sides to come inside but he was Rix's signing from Oxford and would struggle at Elgin to get a game.
