Pre-season Fixtures

Only 45 days to go....

The new season kicks off on the 25th July with the 1st Round of the ALBA Challenge Cup v Montrose - is there any word as yet about a pre-season tour or even any games against local opposition. There was talk before of a Flybe type tournament but not sure if that is still on the cards.....

before the season's fixtures get released

and our team always has to be last in season tickets, shirts, players, and friendlys.

By the way its looking, we will know who we are playing in April before we know who we are playing two weeks later.

I expect us to play a few small teams like that but we may get an english team as well.

Hope we get a good 'big club' friendly, even something like Burnley again.

I do think we have to have a squad first though before any decisions like that. Think the board want alot of answers on contracts by Sunday.

Tue 28th - Home to Dundee United (Friendly)

Sat 1st - Home to Annan (Cup)

Yes, back in 1997, but I don't think so since then.

I'm on Honeymoon and wife to be has booked tickets for evening meeting and after race music from ABBA :huh: tribute band. It will keep her sweet for the saturday game v Annan and for weekends away during the season

Just noticed ICT away at Forres on wed 22nd, another reason to keep her sweet. We are in Nairn that night.

Pretty dissapointed in these frendlies to be honest. We should hammer every team bar Dundee Utd, who we should be aiming to beat. Think we could have done with a decent away game.

As long as we get a good look of the new squad and see what we can do with them by the time the Montrose game, ill be happy.
