That is just ludicrous...no wonder clubs are running vast overdrafts, and even going into administration if they are expected to try and match such silly money.

Easy seen why greed rules in the UK nowadays when Joe Punter looks at bankers' bonus levels and wages like that for people who kick a wee ba' aboot. If they were performing surgery or something really useful, I could understand it.......but, as football fan...that kind of wages are indefensible.

Never have quite understood why anyone in their right minds would think people who entertain us are worth so much more than those who govern us, look after our health, put out our fires and keep us safe etc.

It's a very screwed up world, imo.

No sweat, we could afford nos. 36, 41 & 45!

That's because they are paid sensible wages. How on earth can anybody be worth ?70,000 a week for doing nothing much, in the great scheme of things.

I think we all know by now that they're all over paid, what gets me though is why do the clubs carry on paying it? I remember when Steed Malbronqe (Speeling?) went from Spurs to Fulham, Fulham offered him 60'000 and Spurs, quite rightly, just said no way.

And believe it or not, West Ham will be one of the lower payers. Imagine Man U, Man C, Chelsea, and the like. West ham have a few over 30,000 per week, some clubs have similar numbers over 100,000 per week.

Jack Collison was in the first team beside millionaires, and keeping some out of the team

What these figures show is that we have to be realistic in our expectations when thinking we can compete financially for players dropping down the English leagues!!

We struggle to compete with the English League Two (Division Four as most of us used to call it!) and should remember this when we all shout sign this one or that one!

They also show just exactly why the EPL is on the verge of catastrophe.

Dyer and Boa Morte's wages are an absolute outrage. They're earning more than their manager!!!

No suprise Sullivan and Gold want him out.
