I'm not sure if the dancing in the Islands stopped a few years before the roller skating did.

Flo Munro! Otherwise known as Mrs Bryan "Striker" Munro, Bryan being a former Caley player and committee man from the 60s and 70s and also played for other HL sides. Flo still speaks with huge nostalgia about the La Scala in the Social Club of a Saturday evening.

Suppose you are all too square to remember the Keppoch. Great nights ending with that hairy drive back down hill into Sneck. At least there was the haven of Raigmore Nurses Home at the bottom. Perhaps the other main posters preferred this at the weekend
