A good honest article and a lesson to many career minded people, footballers, managers and supporters alike. It is so easy to go off course when you hit success in any form in life just as easily as if you fail, Well done Pele you have come through it, so now enjoy life with your new contentment.

Great interview. Well done to Sportsound and I dont say that often.

Glad he appears to have found contentment in his life. Did pull at my heartstrings when he said Caley Thistle were the love of his life!

Really good and thoughtful interview totally ruined by the host (Kenny McIntyre?) not discussing with the guests on the show but immediately cutting back to the Celtic game. Pretty shocking stuff but to be expected from Sportsound.

McIntyre is the biggest example of Sportsound's obsession with the OF. He just can't wait to turn the conversation round to the erse cheeks.

It will never happen but it Scottish sports coverage on radio would be much the better if the frequencies were split turning one over to Celtic and The Rangers and those plethora of Weegie pundits and commentators obsessed with one or other of the 'cheeks' with the other frequency giving fair, impartial and even handed coverage to the other ten teams in the top division together with the thirty other clubs in the lower divisions many of which barely get a mention.
