If and when CB goes, wee need nothing less than an experienced manager, no risks this time folks.

take a leaf out of Dundee's book.

Read it again.... ' he'd blow ' not he blew...

Where he got the million to blow on the bookies i dont know or give a toss, i'm pretty sure he will never get behind the managers desk here again.

Without wishing to start a debate can you please substantiate that comment, why are you pretty sure? Would it be ICT or Pele who would block it? And did you think Brewster would be back?

Far too much of a risk do you not think, he has got big baggage and has never proved himself at SPL level, Robbo took the team added a couple of players who made a difference and got us up there, so we will never know if Pele would have achieved it.

Brewsters return was known long before CC resigned.

If you don't know for sure just say, that's fair enough. But don't write Pele off.

Ronaldo, Scott was previously at Dundee twice, so can we assume you'd also like to see Pele back? Or would it be Robertson?

Here is the pool I would choose from, not definitive, not all as Managers of course. Before January so they can spend Marius's millions....

Local/ICT/ICT-connected

Iain Stewart, Barry Wilson, Bobby Mann, John McGinley, Paul Ritchie, Paul Sheerin.

Possibles from lower divisions

Dave Baikie - East Fife

Gordon Chisolm-QoS

Michael O' Neill - Brechin

Derek McIness - St Johnstone

David Cormie - Inverurie Locos

Wildcards

Darren Ferguson - Peterborough

Maurice Malpas - Swindon

Paul Lambert - Colchester

Colin Calderwood - N Forest

Dean Saunders - Wrexham

Keith Hill - Rochdale

Gary Waddock-Aldershot

some interesting names Kirishima

Iain Stewart - kind of unsure of this one. Not sure about the circumstances of his departure from Peterhead ?

Barry Wilson - I would be up for that - in conjunction with an older head to guide him (such as his dad)

Bobby Mann - I would love to see Bobby back at the club but not as manager in his own right. Perhaps with a mentor as described for Barry

John McGinlay - not much of an ICT connection (his brother Dave played for us), and not sure of his managerial pedigree

Paul Ritchie - great player but is he a manager .... where have we heard of a great goalscorer not being able to manage a team before !!!

Paul Sheerin - This one intrigues me. but again, with a mentor.

Lower divisions -

Baikie - don't know much about him

Chisholm - recently signed 2 year deal at QOS, big compo required, QOS refused Dundee permission to talk to him the other week.

O' Neill - doing well at Brechin but was "happy" his club refused to let Dundee speak to him.

McInnes - don't know much about him

Cormie - don't know much about him

Of your "wildcards", again I dont have much knowledge of them but would have to be very wary of both Malpas and Lambert who did badly in Scotland before.

The one thing that is certain, is that IF anything happens and that is a HUGE 'if', then whoever is in contention will be an "economical" choice. It will not be a person looking for a huge wage or contract so it would likely be someone trying to get a foot in the management door such as Barry, someone looking to move up slightly from current job such as a lower division manager (who doesnt require huge compo to his club) or someone who has been out of the game for a while and looking to get back in (like Jocky Scott was).
