What speed do you assume you can drive at when overtaking on a crawler lane in.

A a lorry

B a vauxhall astra car

C a vauxhall vivaro van

D a vauxhall astra van

Depends if the vans were white.

Depends if the lorry was a Tesco lorry

Depends if you were driving the astra car.

The frustrating thing about crawler lanes is you will quite often see two lorries nose to tail, when they arrive at the c/lane the rear lorry will attempt to overtake the front lorry and take 95% of the crawler lane to do so.

a big lorry, 40mph

b 60 mph

c 50mph

d 60mph

unless crawler lane is on a dual carriageway/motorway, then speeds are increased

They carry the same speed restriction as the section of road they are attached too. If you want to get really technical and anal about it then you should only use the crawler lane if you are a slow moving vehicle, all other vehicles should remain in the "overtaking" lane.

There's also the "trick question" answer that you should never overtake on a crawler lane.
