Stapanovs isn't even in the candidates he hasn't had any club since March 2008.

CB in LV - Gorkss and Ivanovs (from Liepajas metalurgs - Pavels 1st professional club). and no chances, that Pavels will make his debute - we won last match, and coach won't change the squad.

The big question I have about Pavels is 'how does Butcher coach him when Pavels doesn't understand a word of East Anglian or how does Malpass get a point across in deep Dundonian when Pavels does not have a standard grade in Scottish?' It must be brilliant listening to Scottish referees and not understanding a word but nodding keeps them happy.

I've actually seen Lionel speaking to other players (presumably in English) but from what I've read his English ain't 100%.
