*allegedly it is .... It was returned to Scotland from Westminster Abbey on St Andrew's day 1996 with the approval of the queen and will only be (temporarily) moved again - to its former resting place under the coronation chair - for the coronation of a new monarch.

* Depending on what/who you believe, there are at least a couple of documented occasions when the Stone might have been switched !!! Some conspiracy theorists claim that the Stone taken to England by Edward in 1296 was not the real stone and that a fake sat there for 700 years whilst the real one was hidden. Others claim that the stone stolen liberated from Westminster Abbey on Xmas Day 1950 (real or fake) was replaced by a fake one when returned at Arbroath Abbey 4 months later. Historic Scotland examined the stone at Edinburgh Castle and declared it "probably" the original !!!

Mel Gibson was born somewhere in New York state to an American father and Irish mother they emigrated to Sydney when Mel was twelve.
