Just a note, for all of us missing our fix of ICT footie this weekend, the Under 19s Cup tie is on this Sunday, at the Stadium, kick off 2pm. I presume free entry as usual.

Please come along on Sunday to see our boys meet up with Robbo's.

Josh Meekings tweeted it was a 2-0 win for ICT.

It was. A good value 2-0 win after extra time between two really well matched teams. It has to be said though, that East Fife's goalie kept them in it and it always looked like ICT would win if they took one of the numerous chances that came their way. No.s 2 and 10 scored (I apologise for not knowing their names) but all round much, much better than watching sterile international friendlies. Could Spain have played like that against us instead?

For the first 90 minutes ICTunder 19s did everything but score (does that remind anyone of the 1st team this season before game v Killie ?) but in extra time, firstly the captain Jack Sutherland scored and then Kevin Buchan. As Davie said, the wee East Fife goalie played a blinder and was really the Man of the Match. A nice day out but thank goodness we didnt get to a penalty shoot-out, by then the frost was showing in the players breaths! Cold at the stadium, after 4pm, and especially noted that the East Fife fans outnumbered the ICTs nearly 10 to 1 - why was this game not advertised locally ??

Well done, the under 19s. Hope you get a home draw in the next round and it is advertised appropriately.

PS - to earlier entry - nice to see Gregory Tade, Josh Meekings and Jonny Tuffey in the stands supporting the under 19s. Thanks lads - nice to see you there.

Club aren't always the best at getting news out there...but on this occasion it has been listed on the ICT Main Website since 19th October....and a general entry for the 3rd round had been listed long before that on the U19 Fixtures page - http://ictfc.com/newsflash/237-scottish-youth-cup-round-3

The article was also pushed to the top of the news feed last week so as it wasn't lost in the run up to the match. It went out via Facebook and on Twitter (and as such would have had a listing at some point on the front page of this site as well).

Pretty sure I also saw mention of it in the Courier and/or Highland News.
