I hear they're coming up to Bogbain next May

they've been around a long time but i think it might be no a bad day/night out

i mean most of us recognise their music so it might be good craic , thoughts ?

Along with Cockney Rebel?

That's a brilliant gig for Inverness.

What is it about this place that attracts all these "old has beens" to come and play here?

Saw something on STV yesterday about Spandau ballet coming to Bogbain as well. Now they really are past their sell by date

Maybe a few sucsessful gigs with has beens or lesser acts may see the arrival of more appealing acts. At the end of the day, its the promoters who get the acts up here. I still feel there is a bit of the..... stick on a puppet show and they will turn out en masse attitude up here.

What we need is a ballsy promoter with some good connections. Take the Ironworks for example....that should be promoted as a venue for acts to come try out new material on the fans in preperation for an arena tour type of venue. Lots of acts play inimate gigs in that manner.

Lots of acts for the younger ones at Rockness & Belladrum also The Iron Works have had a lot of popular stuff

Paolo Nutini , Scouting For Girls , Biffy Clyro to name but a few

It's just opinions and banter FOF,I was at the Eagles gig at Hampden last year and as yer mate said they were awesome, would deffo go along and see the Quo just to see if Francis Rossi can still rock it for 3 hours solid, one of the best gigs i ever saw at Glasgow Apollo,i think i still have my air guitar from that night.

I went to see them too and they were great!

Shame this is the same day as the final game of the season. Which of course is Dundee at home!

Been fair looking forward to this since it was brought to my attention by fanoffooty on here, was a bit disapointed it was moved from Bogbain as the logistics are a bit harder getting from the match to the new venue, but got my tickets for the Saturday and held back on Sunday awaiting THE announcement, but speculation on Sundays lineup kept me hoping, Brian Adams, SnowPatrol.... all sorts of rumours abounded, but no one in their wildest dreams could have known who the organisers, in an amazing coup for the highlands, had secured the services of non other than .....................

THE FECKIN SUGABABES!!!!! and McFeckin Fly :026: unbelievable, truly unbelievable.
