Trialists

As well as the current trialists (Darren Lough, Andrew Milne and Callum Morris) we have training with us is 24 year old Samuel Oji, who arrived yesterday, he is an ex-Arsenal centre half, here is his wiki page which should be fairly accurate.

The Inverness Courier reports Butcher wanted to sign him when he was at Motherwell but that a deal couldnt be arranged at that time.

Phrases you don't here very often:

hereis his wiki page which should be fairly accurate.

;)

But there's one phrase that perhaps appears a bit too often:

Oji signed for League One club Hereford United on 7 August 2008. After five games for the club he suffered a knee injury which kept him out of training for four months; he never regained his first-team place and at the end of his short-term contract, in February 2009, he was released.

In March 2009 Oji joined Ljungskile SK of the Superettan (Swedish second division) after a successful trial. He played only six league games for Ljungskile before being leaving at the end of his short term contract due to financial discrepancies. In August, Oji had a trial with Tranmere Rovers. After participating in a trial game with Tranmere Oji was invited to trial with Turkish Super League side Diyabakispor which was successful until injury ended it prematurely with Oji set to sign. Once fit Oji returned to former club Leyton Orient for another trial which ended as he suffered an apparently serious leg injury, whilst playing for the reserves.

Thats why i put fairly ;)

he does seem to have been injured a lot which doesnt sounds too good. Looks like he has itchy feet by the amount of clubs he's had at 24!!

Either that or all his previous clubs quickly realised he was a dud!

You may well be right, given his injury history that would seem a fair assumption

if he gets any deal - assuming he impresses - i sincerely hope it is on a "paid if you played" basis which would reduce the risk of us paying out for a crock !
