Luke, i'm up to speed wi the Ferry up here, it took a while for me when I moved here as the "Ferry" doon home is the posh bit!

Don, I agree, the fact is, due to the summer fiasco we have to deal with a situation where 10 games in Dundee (city) will have to be changed to prevent clashes. Nae disrespect, but ICT and County are the lowest away support in the league, therefore the obvious least loss of revenue is to move these ties, no saying I think that's right but from a business point of view it is. After the events of the summer I think the organising and governing bodies of our game have lost all credibility so would not put anything beyond them,if I was in your shoes I'd be less than impressed

Here's 1 of Scotland's least heard sayings "Lets go to Dundee for a night out/weekend"

Really! You've obviously never been, try it for yersel, pub crawl down the Perth road or a night oot in the Ferry,( nae curfew!) if you don't have a great time I'll come and support Caley!!

Jeez I remember the first time I went down to Dundee (unescorted) with three mates for a Manic Street Preacher's gig in around 97/98 (think it was 'something Hall'?). My mate drove down, parked up and literally within 90 seconds of us leaving the car we were offered 'E's and Whizz' off some dodgy looking bloke. Quite the introduction to Dundee! Suffice to say as innocent Invernessian folk we had no idea what he was talking about and we proceeded to the gig in a very proper and sober manner.

As I said, no coincidence!!! I'm also not so sure the "business" theory holds water either....if that had been factored into it at all, then our game would have been on the Sunday, which would have had a lower impact on crowds, whilst still allowing Alba to screen it.

I get the impression that someone at the SPL is just getting a little carried away and excited about having football on a Friday night and it's not been fully thought through. Yeah, I can see the sense of it for local derby matches which are being screened lived by SKY/ESPN, but beyond that it's just a nonsense.
