Doofers Dad - First of all i was wrong. A List MSP died a few years back. What happened then was they were replaced by a new List MSP of the same party.The SNP already have a number of List candidates and if the two rebels resigned their seat, the stand by MSPs take over. I still think a List MSP should resign their seat if leaving a Party but it‘s not in the rules.
