I understand negotiations are at an advanced stage with Falkirk involving an exchange with Mark Brown for Alan Gow... Could be a good bit of business...... :022:

That would be a great bit of business but I SERIOUSLY doubt this rumour is true.

Really can't see Gow wanting to come to ICT with all the other clubs after him just now

He has already stated that he will be staying on at Falkirk till the end of the season; He has also had talks with Hibs, Aberdeen, and is being tracked by Wolves, Rangers, Celtic... there is a snowballs chance in **** of him coming to us.

Someone close this thread, as its a complete non starter.

From the BBC Hibs are already admitting defeat in trying to sign him

Collins said Hibs had failed in their efforts to sign Falkirk's Alan Gow, after holding talks with the 24-year-old striker.

"Alan Gow won't happen, unfortunately," said Collins.

"We went about our business correctly, we contacted the football club and then spoke to the player and his agent and gave it our best shot, but it wasn't to be."

Think they had a £100,000 offer turned down.  Can't see us being at the races with this one.  Even if he did move he's the type of player that would be off again in a moments notice.

I have always thought that if Mark is intent on going this is exactly what we should be doing, swapping him for a decent outfield player.

This would be very good business in my opinion.

Has someone spiked the sneck's water supply with a batch of johndo's stamps?

Both players are free agents in the summer and as such neither club is really at liberty to swap these two players unless it was a short term agreement until the end of the season.

However, there's as much chance of Falkirk releasing Gow as there is of Walter Smith turning down the Rangers hot seat.

I can just see Gow knocking backwolves, aberdeen, hibs and the old firm for a spell in the sneck.....(shakes head in disbelief)..........
