Hi there,

It just came to my attention that its the 25th anniversary of that match down at parkhead (which i attended as a schoolboy) and the sudden urge to force my wife to relive it with me came about. I used to have a copy of the Going Ballistic VHS and i remeber it being excellent but now I have neither the VHS or the means to play it. Ive spent 20 minutes searching if anyone has made it available online but I havent had any luck, does any here know if it can be found?

There was a DVD came out with the game and some interviews etc. around 2010 that you might be able to get a copy of.

The match highlights are on YouTube if the DVD is not available on line.

It may not contain everything on the DVD but it will bring back memories of great days.

Pretty sure the club shop has some DVDs. Could drop them an email, I hope to pop past next week for something so could check for you.

Appreciate the help guys,

My wife is delighted that she only had to sit through a couple of highlights and news reports on youtube rather than a two hour video but my folks still live in the city so I'm sure if I ask nicely theyll send over a copy of the dvd for my birthday!

Ive been away for over a decade so i missed the scottish cup so that night still ranks up the top of my football memories.

I just looked out my VHS and the running time is actually only 60 mins!

I forgot we'd done another DVD. Am I right in thinking that was a double DVD with the 2000 game and 2015 cup final?

May need to go looking for a copy of that myself.

The double DVD was of the 2014/15 season including the Scottish Cup win, but I don’t think it had the 2000 game as well.

For the Go Ballistic game we released A Night to Remember in 2000, definitely on VHS, but was it initially available on DVD too? Or did we do, as you suggested earlier, a DVD many years later for an anniversary, with added interviews etc? I have all our releases somewhere, I’m just not entirely sure where!

The original was just a VHS I thought. Then a new one was released around 2010 on DVD by the supporters trust was it? Must have been for the 10 year anniversary.

This featured all new interviews.

According to a thread in here the DVD released in 2010 was called 'A Night to Remember'.

Only 500 copies so don't imagine there's too many spares floating around.

It looks like the DVD from 2015 was called 'The Road to Hampden & Europe'. As stated it doesn't have the 2000 game on it. Found info here

I have the VHS and also the DVD (somewhere) but it’s NTSC system over here not PAL so unable to play either.

I wonder if the club could make a few bob by releasing all three items as digital downloads for those who have lost, can’t play, or don’t have the originals? Not sure of any copyright issues that might make it difficult but if these can be overcome or don’t exist then it might be a good option as a 25th anniversary of the night we went ballistic for the first time.
