Apart from bannerman, a 2nd Div. player, it appears that we are starting without new experienced man players .

The youngsters who are about to be blooded may well struggle against cynical and hardened players.

Can the boys do a mans job?

I am concerned that many are confusing Barrowman and Bannerman - **** me Charlie is at least two foot smaller.

Can the boys do a mans job - NO - they need experienced role models.

I BELIEVE !

On the evidence laid before us in the form of ICT's pre-season I believe the boys will not be able to do a mans job. During the pre-season we played lesser opposition (with the exception of Burnley) and conceded 13 goals in those 8 games. The only clean sheet we managed was against Clachnacuddin. On the plus side, we did manage to score in every game. I really think that our defence is shocking and we are going to rely heavily on our new strike force to score more than we conceded. We have no pace, we have no holding mid-fielder, we have no anchor man in the centre of defence, but, listening to Brewster on North Tonight yesterday evening he seems quite happy with our lot. So I suppose that's alright then. I really really hope I am proved wrong but I reckon we are in for a long hard slog.
