Wilson on for Black at HT

Black suspected to have a dislocated shoulder courtesy of a Darren Dods challenge at end of first half.

To be fair, Dundee Utd were very good today. We weren't bad either, and had spells of playing some good stuff on the deck. Pretty good game of football.

We didn't really dereve to go a goal down, but Daly was left unmarked for a simple header. Can't believe we are letting him score against us FFS. Mcbain had our best chance but dragged a shot wide when in space 10 yards out.

Turning point was Black going off, cynically fouled as we set off on the break. Utd did that to us a few times actually. He had shown composed class in the middle, best player on the park in the first half.

It was only a matter of time before Utd got the 2nd. We then improved and went 4-4-2, creating a few chances. In the space of 2 minutes the lively Barry Wilson cut inside and forced a great save, the Barrowman's effort came back off the post, and then Rooney(?) headed in but the flag was up. Would like to see that one again. Late on, the otherwise disappointing Cowie had a 20 yard drive tipped over, and then Wilson's corner was bundled in by Wilkie.

I thought McBain and Imrie were poor today. Duff and Vigurs did fine once again. Black and Wilson showed their class.

The worst thing about today was Blackie's injury. We are seriously going to miss him and will slide down the table very quickly if he is out long term.
