Having just watched the highlights. Oh my god that was some **** poor defending for the 2nd and 3rd goals. Has no one ever told Imrie not to pass across the face of goal and as for Hastings, he should have been smacking that ball out of the fecking stadium not trying to be cute. I think some players mental faculties are not as sharp as they should be when it comes to defence. Sometimes you need to put your foot through the ball not play tippy tappy football; as defenders your job is to not concede a goal. If the opposing team are attacking then sometimes it is better to hoof the ball than to play it, we don't (going from the highlights I have seen and radio I have heard) seem to have the smarts to figure this out for ourselves.
