Dean Ebbe  scored and had an assist for TNS in the Europa League last night, but was one of two who then missed penalties in the shoot out as they went out in the Faroes. If he’d scored his they’d have gone through.

Ryan Christie scored in Celtic’s 3-2 win against Livingston whilst Iain Vigurs scored the only goal as County beat St Johnstone.

Marley Watkins got his first Aberdeen goal as they beat County comfortably by all accounts. Vigurs sent off as he conceded a penalty.

I noticed Dean Ebbe got another for The New Saints today as well.

A goal and an assist for Marley Watkins as Aberdeen came from behind to beat St Mirren 2-1.

I notice Jason Oswell is now at AFC Telford, and scored his debut goal for them last night (6 Oct).  Also scoring last night were Scott Boden, for Chesterfield, and Dean Ebbe with another couple for The New Saints.

Ryan Christie scored from the spot in Celtic’s 3-3 draw with Aberdeen. I watched it from about the 40th minute and saw all the goals in what was a pretty good game. Marley Watkins played a great pass that resulted in the penalty that Aberdeen opened the scoring with just before half time.

I noted that the managers had a much different view of the referee's performance

Aberdeen Manager Derek Mcinnes said "The penalty decisions, the referee got them all right. Big decisions he got right."

And Celtic Manager Neil Lennon said  "I'll need to see the penalties again. I thought the referee had a very poor game - decision-making, being influenced by his assistants and some of the decisions were baffling I thought he was poor for a referee of his level."

David Raven scored one of Marine FC's penalties in a penalty shoot-out, beating  division 2 Colchester in today's F.A.Cup tie, after drawing 1-1 after extra time.

In Scotland Rory McAllister scored for Cove and Jamie Wilson scored for Dumbarton
