My calculations have Inverness on a competitive total of 1,493 goals in all competitions. Just 7 away from the landmark 1,500!
The next games are against Hamilton, Ross County and then Stirling Albion - it could 'go' in that cup game...or perhaps I'm jumping-the-gun! (or, some may argue....'the shark'!)

500: Davide Xausa v Airdrie (2000/01)
1000: Grant Munro v St Mirren (2007/08)
1500: ? (2015/16)

Who will get the 1500th goal?
The 500th goal, back in the earlier years, was notched by Xausa, who was more of a 'cult-hero', than an ICT legend.
The 1000th was scored by undoubted Inverness 'legend', Grant Munro - probably fitting!
The 1500th could be netted by anybody if we go on a 'turkey-shoot' against Stirling - but, I don't actually see that happening. I'll just be glad to win that tie at the first time of asking! But, as we hit 6 the last time we played there in the cup, there's a chance it could happen in that game, hence this post!

How many ICT games have there been since the merger?  We must be approaching 1,000 by now?

I've got it at 944!

County will be my 100th game at TCS. Also 398 ICT games overall.

Your missus has absolutely no reason to worry what all the notches in your bedpost signify!

We have scored almost 1500 goals in under 1000 games ?

Is that all? I'm sure we scored about 2000 under Pele.

Would be great to get it on Saturday against our rivals!  I hope we have scored much more than County I wonder if they have a Dingboy that keeps their stats.

Should make it even more interesting at Stirling next week.  Although it would have been nice to reach the target against County, I'm quite pleased in a way, as I'll be at Stirling to see the milestone achieved.  Hope I do not have cause to 'eat those words'.

Personally I'm playing this one down.

Just like counting bricks to build a house you get to brick 1500 and then carry on.

Wyness' goal scoring prowess seemed to dry up when approaching his 100th goal.

If we are drawing 1-1 in Stirling then goal 1501 will be more important than the last.

Good philosophy but for Sneckie's sake applaud  the first one and rejoice with him he is the counting man and he might just not wear his new anorak for spite.

I know, its just the team scoring a goal is more important than the individual,

The mindset should be score a goal, not score goal 1500.

That's not me having a dig at Sneckboy.
