As far as McIntyre is concerned, if we're really keem to have a 35 year old forward we might as well have retained McSwegan.

McIntyre's total of 4 goals in the last 2 seasons would suggest that, like McSwegan, his goalscoring days are well behind him. I'm fairly sure our manager knows this and is aiming higher.

Although there is the nagging doubt that, just like before,  if we can't find anybody decent before the window shuts.....

McManus has now indeed resigned for the Pars.It's a bit concerning that both he and Buchanan have chosen first division football over the opportunity to play for ourselves.
