True but ICT allowing kids to go free are by there own admission trying to appeal to a potential untapped fan base, political parties handing out freebies are doing the same. Political parties also have youth wings which teach young (pre voting age) members how to debate political subjects etc. Just because kids can't vote it does not mean that they do not have the ability to formulate ideas and decide under their own free will where to align their political allegiances. It is not just the Tories who employ tactics such as these and I think it is good that kids of all ages are taught about sensitive subjects such as politics, it allows them a better understanding of the world and gives them a basis on which to build their lives. You could also get bugged about kids being indoctrinated into religious groups for that is done without the chance for the kids to make up their own minds, at least the politicians only hand out balloons and not try to teach kids that something without any evidence is true.

Double standards.  Here's a good example: Recently Birdog posted a thread about how the Ross County manager Derek Adams was being lined up to replace Brewster in January.  The thread has now gone after a big hoo ha from the mods, but yet a couple of months ago IHE posted a thread saying John Robertson was being lined to replace Brewster and this a been decided a fortnight previously.  What happened?  Nothing.  Double standards indeed.

TM4TJ I am not going near the previous debate but was there any need for the last part of your post (the bold part) TCF knows nothing of the discussion between myself and the mods and therefore is commenting on a subject which he has only partial knowledge, something which everyone on this forum is guilty of. Your post was fine until you made the personal attack. Perhaps you should consider your posting style and then people would listen to what you have to say. Sorry to be so frank but if you come across so aggressively then you should be ready to take some criticism.

My Sony Ericsson W910i appears to have malfunctioned again. I had two of these phones before I found out that there was a software issue and it had to be sent away for repair and updated. I got my phone back in January and up until last night it was perfect. Then, out of nowhere, the phone started turning itself on and off again repeatedly. I lost all my contacts and all my music on the phone was missing (despite the memory card saying it was 72% full).

I took out the battery, SIM card and memory card and left them all over night. Stuck them back in this morning and it was stable and I was able to recover some contacts from reading my messages that had been sent out and received. Music still wasn't appearing. When I get home from work I decide, that while stable, I should update the firmware and follow the process laid out by SE. This then caused the phone to crash repeatedly again although before it did the music started showing up again.

Utter piece of piss from SE. Back to o2 and the old Samsung D600 I go...

To fly logistical missions? The role of the armed forces, whilst primarily is to fight if needed, is not exclusively war orientated.

When people make a generalised statement then shift the goalposts when their statement is contradicted.

Only joking Smee, I am not in the forces so I am probably wrong on this point but I think that most pilots are trained in a number of roles and in a number of aircraft so that should the worst happen we have cover in all areas. Just like a warship being manned by 100+ seamen when 12 men can do the same job on a merchant ship.

I could be worng, but I think in the RAF, you specialise in a certain aircraft. Costs about ?2million quid to train these pilots allegedly. But maybe that like when they say it costs ?8000 per week to keep a prisoner :017:

Maybe ?8000 was a slight exhageration on my part, as it was a few yrs ago i heard the figures. But it was certainly in the ?000's and i recall thinking...WTF :017:
