Robbo in charge to face Motherwell?

Joe, although not everyone had/has Robbo down as the first choice, most people certainly didn't think he would be the worst option. That was the case long before he was on talking with fans last week and I don't think it has changed much as a result.

It just seems since that more people are in favour of him and calling for him to be manager as if he would be some saviour! Can't remember this much po-Robbo before :rotflmao:

Give him til the end of season and also select potential candidates for next season without excluding him!

Couldn't agree more... Robbo would jump at the chance of even a caretaking role till the end of the season, and then get to put his hat in the ring with any other potential candidates...

I get the impression the vast majority of supporters would welcome Robbo back - even on an interim basis - it's such a shame our pleas appear to falling on deaf ears.

I agree with giving robbo a contract till the end of the season. The advantage is that he knows most of the squad and has been watching our games recently so hopefully he'd hit the ground running as it were. We don't have the luxury of appointing a new manager who'd then require the time to get to know the players. By the time this happened the transfer window would be shut and then what?

Give a robbo a contract till the end of the season. If he keeps us up, give him a rolling 6 month contract after that!

You are absolutely right, at times it's reminiscent of the Life of Brian.
