never felt the need to post in the forums but seeing the squad for the B team has somewhat "got me"!

what is the craic wi that gash of a player lee miller being included - surely dargo would be a better bet seeing as he is more consistent at scoring?!?!

ps - well done to mark brown making it into the squad again!!

Really goes to show what Walter Smith thinks of ICT , handy to have players in the squad when he wants to put bums on seats but otherwise not a chance.

Has Webster even kicked a ball for Wigan ,whereas Grant Munro is consistently performing well in the SPL.

Clark and Miller you have got to be kidding .

Almost, but not quite correct, Libero.

Check Hairy Chippers post in the correct forum..............Official Scotland B Squad (Non ICT)

In fact it was Ross P's thread at 11:30 :016:

i see all the posts have been merged now, woops!

****, though i was the first to get the scotland squad up on the forums here as well.

Clark is the big stand out for me, he should never be in it! Lee Miller has the potential to be a good striker but he hasn't been playing anywhere near his potential over the last couple of seasons. Was playing very well when at hearts but had been mince up in Scotland since then.

Wow, thats magic, how did it get in here :015:

Did you know

Libero can refer to:

A specialist defensive position in soccer (also known as a sweeper).

A specialist defensive position in volleyball.

A four-wheel drive microvan made by Subaru.

A diaper produced by the SCA group for the European market.

An Italian newspaper, directed by Vittorio Feltri.

A software package to generate program code for Finite State Machines, published under GPL by the Belgian company imatix

and...........

do you realise that Libero spelt backwads is............orebil :010:

And, well done Mark Brown :021:

Some strange choices in the forward positions and its a shame that ICT are not represented more.

But well done to Mark Brown!!! :022:

The only meaning i knew for 'libero' was sweeper or defensive position in football or volleyball.

Busy day then TM4TJ?

Mark Brown has been selected for the Scotland B squad to play ROI in Dublin on Tuesday. Paul Gallacher is the other keeper in the squad. A big opportunity for Mark with a few A squad players (Webster, Scott Brown, Boyd, Maloney) in there so looks like Uncle Walter is really looking to decide which of his fringe players can make the step up to regular squad players. Bit surprised to see Boyd in there mind...

The 2nd and 3rd keepers jerseys must be up for grabs??

as my earlier post was deleted...

Webster has played the last 2 games for Wigan and they have had a clean sheet in both, he hasn't played at his best but I would make an arguement for him being in the A squad.

Good to see Mark brown getting a bit of recognition, at least we got a representative all be it in the B's, im sure he could step up to the A team, i see also that Rankin got in the Setanta October SPL team of the month.
