No argument with that m'lud. But everybody is putting the slant on Mr A being an actual individual. I was being genuinely hypothetical - this really has nowt to do with last Saturday in particular. It is evident that there still isnt a clear understanding. Perhaps an official response is required and to the question raised without all the potential variances.

The fact is that the club as ticketing authority are entitled to dictate that a person remains in the area for which they have a ticket whether the ticket specifically states that on the face of it or not.

But what if a "swop" occurs as in the original scenario?

Perhaps the question should be asked directly with the decision/policy makers then rather than the fans who will give their variety of opinions

Now that more learned posters have agreed with me that the club should not make special provisions for a singing section and that those of a similar bent should arrange their seating by buying in advance, would it too much to ask that we are not subjected to the same whinging during and after our next home game.

I really do hope that one of our number can last to the end of the next game. After all, a 20% failure rate to make it to the climax of recent league games is one that is not doing anybody any good.

I don't think anyone agreed that the club should not make special provisions for the singing section at all.  What you will find is that as the club seem **** bent on doing whatever they can to break up these lads, that a workaround has been suggested.

Swapping tickets is always going to be difficult as people like to sit in their 'own' seats.  However

If the members of the singing section are not ticket holders for where they like to sit ie back of section G can I suggest that they stay where they should be and sing and shout so loudly that the people around them join in (heavens could that really happen at every match, lots of singing and atmosphere in the ground)  or perhaps the club and supporters could  agree that next  year when the season tickets are sorted out that people that dont wish to sing could be moved or 'upgraded' to more suitable seats.  I am sure there will be lots of posters that don't like that idea so I wait to be slagged off for that We enjoy singing where we are and felt that the tiny stand was never going to be a great winner as nothing could be heard but that is another thread....
