It wont happen. Was discussed 18 months ago and the FA wanted nothing to do with it. The other countries are going ahead with plans for a Celtic Cup competition between the four. Think 2009 is the intended start for this.

Pretty sure i read somewhere that the celtic cup would go ahead next year if none of the teams where to be involved in the euro finals.

Aye but that was before they were out - they'll suddenly think its a good idea.

Personally as much as I do think we'd beat the english right now I want nothing to do with it if they are involved.  It'll just end in trouble.  But if it does go ahead I'll be there.

Celtic Cup

How exciting

Its almost as appealing as a return to the Kirin Cup.

Lets face it, it wont have the same appeal without England, just a bunch of glorified friendlys.

Not that I dont love any excuse for a scotland game :021:
