Goriest scene from a movie

Whats the most stomach churning scene from a movie you have seen? the scenes toward the end of Hannibal, where Hannibal Lecteur scalps Ray Lioatta to reveal his brain (then cuts open the protective sack, removes some brain, cooks it and lets him eat it) turns my stomach. I am no lightweight. Av seen all the horror flicks worth seeing, and av seen some real life horror sights, but I can no longer watch this scenes.

The blow torch to eyeball scene in Hostel is pretty disgusting.

Jack snogging the decomposing granny in The Shining and the scene from Saw III with the guy drowning in the liquidised pig carcasses are both movie moments that I can recall giving me the boke.

The "Hannibal" films have some seriously gory scenes ... not all blood and guts, which actually makes them more scary ... Whether its the burning journalist in the original "Manhunter" using the skinned cop's face and hanging the other up like an angel as he escapes in Silence of the lambs, or the brain scene already mentioned in Hannibal ... all pretty nasty!!!

The eyeball scene in Hostel is also pretty gross, as is the whole SAW franchise !!! But what about "The Fly" where he barfs over someone and his hand dissovles .... or Hellraiser where "Uncle Frank" solves the puzzle of the box and gets his face ripped apart by chains and hooks that shoot out of it.

Saving Private Ryan is another fairly gory movie, especially in true surround sound, but it is gory in a "real life" sort of way. Not sure if I am going into the realms of scary with this last pair or whether they are truly gory, but I found the original Japanese versions of The Grudge (Ju-On) and The Ring (Ringu) quite gory in a subtle way !!!

I have seen most of the movies mentioned BUT, the scene i mention actually makes me feel physically sick. I have to turn over now when it is on. Funny thing is...It never used to bother me until this year!

I see the movie Misery is about to start on Ch5. The famous bed Hobbling scene is pretty sickening when she does it

Au Contraire lesser mortale.......I have seen the Cannibal films (used to dupe off tech drawing on a monday in 1st year in IHS to go watch vids at my mates).

I have seen The Execution video that was on sale for all of 2 hrs before it was banned nation wide back in the early 90s. NOw....That is disturbing AND real life!
