Standing Area

Do you think it possible that we get an area for standing at games again. Please take away the seats at the ill fated singing section, add a small shelter roof and allow fans to stand, sing and create atmosphere. Dont need to be all seater, and when we win promotion back up, that would be the place to be. Stewards take note, we dont have to sit in the first division. I feel safe enough jumping up and down on my own two feet thank you

I think theyre should standing along from the west stand. Just add a wee roof and thats us sorted.

Just remember that we are in the First Division now,. We are not maing as much money than the SPL. I think the club really need to cut down on there spending a little bit. If all the singers from G section left to the west stand, the ground would be really quite with just the buch of 20 or so over to the right of them. Fans from the North Stand would not join in the chanting if you had all left and if they did, it would really be out of sync and sound awful.

I dont sit in G section myself, but near enough, but any G section fan wanting to argue, feel free, am an easy target

OUr ground is classed as all seater so the rules that force you to sit still exist. The club would have to get the ground reclassified again for standing.

Well we all stand anyway so it doesnt really make a diffrence.

I doubt that the club will use the terracing. It's not as though we would need the additional capacity. I also doubt that the away stand will be in use for the majority of matches as most of the smaller away supports will be accomodated in the south side of the main stand at lower cost.

The amount of fans we'll get next season you could fit the home support and the smaller teams away support in the main stand

Nobody goes in the west stand especially not in the SFL with our 1,000 attendances

Am i right in saying that the no stnading (in the seated area) is an SPL rule....hence why its rather inconsistantly and heavy handidly enforced, on the home support at least, by stewards? Is it an SFL rule also?
