I kid you not.

Alternative Maryhill has been lured by Yngwie into writing this preview in the style of McBeth.

His creative talents know no bounds and he has come up trumps once again. You may need to read it twice to get the gist of it, but I can assure you, it is about the Celtic game.

Just as the snow arrives, I suppose it could have been A winters Tale

I would encourage anyone who doesn't usually read these reports to give them a try. They are soooooooo much better than anything you get in the conventional media.

it was reported that all the molehills in vicinity of Celtic Park were being raised to Munro status

:clapping:

Your next challenge, Alternative Maryhill, is to do a Dundee Utd preview in the style of McGonagall.

Yngwie, that's my job! I was actually brought up in a tenement flat in Dundee that William Topaz McGonagall lived in. No kidding. My Dad always reckoned that I talked a load of sh*te because I'd been infected by the place. Poetry, it'll be the death of me.

Cheers for the kind words, guys.

Got to admit I had fun with this one. It was actually written last Saturday, hence the lack of reference to the refs' strike. I think I'd have admitted defeat if I had to try to get that into it as well.

I'll look forward to that, Davie! This one could run and run: 'Previews in the style of...' Hibs preview in the style of Irvine Welsh, anyone? Don't think the swear filter could cope...

Bagsy be Mr Winnfield !!

Anyway the trip to Parkdread ended up being Much Ado About Nothing and ended up As you like it, although I apppreciated the Comedy of Errors in the last quarter. The snow turned in to a smashing Winters Tale. Shame to see the Ginger Ned in a Tempest but reckon Tel Boy had the Taming of the Shrew all the time.

Report now published..........sadly no Shakespeare this time, just a great report, stewards and all.
