Crime Cup/League Cup Draw

Just short of 10 years since we found ourselves with a midweek game at Somerset in the quarters of the same tournament. We had a very healthy crowd down that night between the stand and the terraces.

I really think that Rosscoe should be allowed to play in centre midfield for this game.

The quarter finals has brought too much heartache over the last few years. Rosscoe get sent off in that game and we ended up losing 5-1? Its been far too long since our last trip to Hampden we really need to get there this season, Its been so long we are now considered the favourites when playing the two teams that put us out in the past, Dundee and Dunfermline.

Practically a home game fer me - I will be putting some pennies in to Harry's pockets. Think the lowest away day turn out that I have witnessed was the freezing midweek game at Dumfries which just eclipsed Berwick. Whilst I am on about it why did we have such a decent support when we played Stranraer a few years ago ?

We played them in a SC replay since then, on Sky and a poor support of about 30.

An unacceptable oversight on my part. I watched that in the Auld Toll with a raging flu. It was one of Charlie's first games in charge and didn't hint at the brief explosion of exciting football that was about to follow. Just looking back at the stats - we scored 18 goals and conceded 11 in Charlie's first 6 league games!
