Depends what you want the insurance for. Is it to refund cancelled travel or accomodation? You can purchase annual cover from around £40 a year.

depending on your credit card you may also have annual travel/trip/purchase insurance built in .... I know I used to have that with my BOS Visa Card before I moved over here ... and on my recent holiday, obviously booking stuff with a Canadian card, I also had medical/trip/luggage/flight etc insurance built in to that ... i ended up not having to purchase any external insurance !

I will share a nugget of info i picked up on last week. Many insurances cover you for the travel to the destination, whilst at the destination, but....................apparently not for the journey back. So....in theory, if your flight home was cancelled, you wouldnt not be covered for any additional costs you incurr. So might be worth checking on that

I use Monidail for us it is heap and covers all have used them as extra insurance on top of holiday company, need it with Marc have never been more that £!5 for the 2 weeks holdiday.
